Videos

Back when I was in 6th grade (2008-2009), I was bored and suffering from adolescant woes and got into this online video game called RuneScape. I was utterly addicted, and I followed this community of people who created RSMVs - RuneScape Music Videos. That's actually how my own music tastes began to be developed. I idolized these people who were probably only 5 or so years older than me, and I started to make my own.
Essentially, these videos are made up of tiny, 1-5 second clips screen captured from the game that may or may not have the character saying lyrics of the song. Then the entire thing is heavily edited.
I started with the awful Windows Movie Maker and then started to dabble into Sony Vegas Pro 8. I taught myself everything and just learned from the other videos that I watched. Unfortunately, I had a very bad PC that couldn't even run the game in good quality - let alone edit videos.
I made a few videos in my spare time, but slowly my interests shifted towards the "real world" by my sophomore year of high school (2011-2012) and I stopped making them and stopped playing around in Sony Vegas.

I'll spare you the most embarassing videos from when I was 13, but I'll give you some that I think have some merit.

Driving Nails - Demon Hunter (unfinished) - 2013
God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen - Spiritual Plague - 2011
Believe - Josh Groban - 2010

Another thing that I find irony is that I made this video for Josh Groban's Believe from the Polar Express, and it absolutely blew up even though the quality is pretty bad. I stopped looking at my YouTube channel after about 2012 and didn't realize that it had this many views.
